Experience

    • Special Projects Cataloguer.
      • Apr 2006 - Apr 2008

Catalogued the KCL theses from 1975-1980, followed by the retrospective cataloguing of 5000 books from the Humanities book store. These covered the subjects of European history, geography, Literature, & politics, in various languages, published from 1700-1850. They included 500 books of Folio size, which involved special handling techniques, in order to transport them from the book shelves, to our cataloguing work room. Since this project was only funded for a 2 year fixed-term period, I left this post in 2008, & have been looking for a suitable new position since then, but regrettably with no success so far. Meanwhile, I have been actively involved in the library profession, by serving as the voluntary Hon. Secretary of the CILIP Academic & Research Libraries Group, London & South-East Region, for the purposes of continuing professional development, from 2009 to the present. Show less
