Manage employee and contract activities on the site utilising permitting systems and ensuring Risk Assessments and Method Statements / Safe Working Procedures are adhered to.

Initially started an electrical apprenticeship with British Steel in Scunthorpe and was taken on as an electrician working on the Blast Furnaces. As a Shift Electrician working on a range of PLC controlled equipment, inverter drives and instrumentation as well as hydraulic and pneumatic equipment. Integrated into the Production team where I controlled the Furnace operation as well as providing electrical cover.
