Dave Jenkins is a strong, well-rounded, seasoned, & experienced consummate Mfg. Leader. I had the great pleasure of completing many, many projects (both large & small) for him at FlexSteel from 2012 to 2016. I have great respect for Dave Jenkins. Simply stated, his leadership style gets results. I was more than happy to support him & take as much work off of his plate that I possibly could. As Sr. Plant Manager, he was my internal customer during our overlapping time at FlexSteel. His vast Mfg. Leadership & Eng. experience spans decades. The list of things that Dave does well as a leader is exhaustive & impressive. First, he’s effective at building great teams of people. He’s dedicated & persistent at establishing & building trust & eliminating fear on Mfg. teams. Also very good at coaching & mentoring individuals & teams. As a leader, he was very good at getting results & things done THROUGH people. He operates transparently & above ground, which was another one of his leadership traits. Was also good at finding a way to cut through roadblocks, remove obstacles, & pull out stops & get results with a sense of urgency. He’s very supportive of people who work with him & for him. He supports & advocates well for his team members. Dave was always very supportive of me & the projects that I worked on while he was Sr. Plant Manager at FlexSteel. Dave is a leader who has a friendly demeanor, has a positive & optimistic attitude, & has a positive influence on people. He was always very approachable & willing to listen. His office door was always open, & he was always willing to give people his patience & time to listen, answer questions, and to clarify/provide clear direction on projects & overall business direction. Very intelligent, wise, professional, & a great team player. In short, he’s a tremendous asset to any organization.
