Bio
David Bass C.Eng EWE
I have known David Jefferies for more than 10 years and have worked with him on numerous projects at Coryton Oil Refinery and more recently on the Buntsfield Terminal Rebuild Project and found him to be a passionate and knowledgeable engineer. As the Quality Assurance Manager and Welding Engineer for GR Carr Limited he has brought a wealth of experience and quality practises to a critical business function. As a leader of a department within the wider engineering function, David has made sure that consistent approaches to best practises are followed. David’s professionalism shines through in everything he does. He ensures that his team understand the customer and business benefit of what they do, and works with senior stakeholders to communicate progress or challenges. During his time at GR Carr, David has overseen the migration of several key services to new platforms, whilst maintaining a quality of service to clients. He has also simultaneously been central to the development of many key propositions most notable of which is the transition from oil and gas to the nuclear industry via the F4N programme.
