I recently advised an educational organisation about a potential bid to the DfE. I also travelled to Benin to deliver solo leadership training to 25 Nigerian principals of international schools. In 2020 I consulted with a London University re their Ofsted preparations. I am also working as a Masters dissertation supervisor for Kaplan. Currently, working with Ian White, we are writing about Ethics in Education - articles and a book. I recently advised an educational organisation about a potential bid to the DfE. As Head of Primary Education, from 2008-11, I was responsible for all primary courses (BA QTS; PGCE; B.Ed) which comprised around thirty members of staff and four hundred students. The broad remit was to work with course and subject leaders to ensure the quality of the programmes and student experience as identified by both internal and external quality measures, such as student and school feedback, external examiners and Ofsted. I oversaw the design and planning of the programmes of study informed by research and scholarship and continuing professional development (being members of subject groups; attending and presenting at conferences; undertaking international projects) as well as ensuring staff were engaged in addressing advances in relation to teaching, learning, assessment, scholarship and related academic practices.
