    • Co-Creator & Executive Producer
      • Sep 2016 - Nov 2017

In collaboration with weloveatl I curated a mixed media gallery exhibition called "The Time is Right". The basic concept grew out of an ambition to collect stories of everyday people, across multiple generations, who have taken an active roll in seeking justice for themselves and others. What resulted were 50 portraits and a film including interviews from people all across Atlanta. Citizens who have done significant work within many different movements: from foster parents, to church leaders, to modern human rights advocates! The opening in October of 2017 was listed as part of Atlanta Celebrates Photography. The portrait gallery was on display at the Center for 2 months and the film was shown multiple times after the initial opening. Show less

    • Program Coordinator and Social Media Operations
      • Sep 2010 - Mar 2011

***Grant funded Temp position*** As "Program Coordinator" I was responsible for re-booting a credit union program called "Stash for Cash". I created a webpage for the program, wrote new ad copy, placed newspaper ads, tabled @ community events, and hired new staff. Thanks in part to these changes, the program ended strong, with its highest participation coming in the last 6 months. Once the program was concluded, I then wrote a summary report for the board of directors. As "Social Media Operations" I recreated the company's Facebook and Twitter accounts. I also designed a webpage to feature member success stories. Each member piece included a paragraph summarizing a short interview and photo. Show less
