You would not be able to tell that David has not been writing JavaScript for 10 years given his expertise in the advanced topics. Though he is self-learned, he continued digging deeper into advanced JavaScript, Node, database management, Docker, and Kubernetes - no small task for anybody let alone somebody who is self-taught with 3 years of software development experience. This should tell you how intelligent and quick-to-learn David is. I really enjoyed working alongside him; and our API is robust and well-architected because of him.
