Ryutaro Sameshima
I worked together with David when I ran a swap book in IBJ Australia and he was responsible to lead a business of Capital Market desk. He created a number of major structured business with Australian Semi-Governments and Corporates at that time when the Japanese investers were keen to make high yeild investments in Australia. He has an excellent Japanese communication both in conversation and wrting, which brought remarkable performance in IBJ Australia. His skill to communicate with the Australian clients was also outstanding and we are the last Japanese bank or a very much exceptional bank to hold the internal credit ratings of the clients due to his good relationships with them while all of the Japanese banks were sufferred from the turmoil of down grades in the late 90's.
