Designed a new line of Lab Mixers from the ground up utilizing proven technologies and creating new industry leading designs which will improve mixing/drying efficiencies. Worked closely with manufacturing and assembly during the design process to produce the most efficient and cost effective design possible. This project was delivered on time and is considered to be the start of the modernization of all Littleford Day products. This Mixer was revealed for the first time in May 2014. Responsible for the design and project management of four 200 gallon double arm mixers. This was a $2.6M project and was delivered on time. I involved myself in all aspects of the project including: project management, purchasing, inspection and fabrication. I ran daily manufacturing meetings to ensure we stayed on or ahead of schedule. Responsible for re-design of double arm mixing line – 10 gallon through 200 gallon. All designs produced using Solid Edge ST4-ST7 & SolidWorks 2014/2015 Responsible for training entry level Designers. All pressurized / jacketed designs were certified to meet ASME standards. Collaborated with colleagues to ensure we met customer needs regarding heat transfer, mixing speeds and FEA calculations. Key member of team responsible for implementing a transformational change to our design process to reduce design time drastically and improve supply chain and production efficiencies.

I worked in the Franchise Development group where we developed front end pipeline products by working closely with Doctors to fill unmet surgical needs. I design early level prototypes and develop the procedures in surgical labs using current surgical processes and devices. Member of the Inventors Hall of Fame with 6 patents and 30+ in process. SolidWorks was primary design tool. I worked in the Franchise Development group where we developed front end pipeline products by working closely with Doctors to fill unmet surgical needs. Worked on four person team which temporarily relocated to a Minnesota packaging equipment company location to learn their design techniques and methods after R.A. Jones acquired a Case Packer line from Delkor. This team then executed the first project in-house at R.A. Jones. Developed multiple subsystems for a new line of Case Packers featuring quick change over capabilities including a variable height accumulator section using custom designed indexing table.
