  In my year as Director of Technology Services my team and I made significant improvements in technology, as well as new campus initiatives to enhance the evolving technology infrastructure that supports student learning and campus operations. We made major infrastructure improvements that include: replacing and upgrading campus multi-function copiers, scanners, printers; installing new campus fiber and switches; upgrading the campus wireless system; installing a new voice over IP phone system; planning the installation of new emergency call boxes; achieving significant cost savings in Internet, cablevision, and phone services; and implementing the first cycle of laptop replacements. In addition, the campus has made improvements this year in network security by implementing a single sign-on protocol. Show less
