Responsible for a large proportion of daily running of the store including- cashing up, task delegation, dealing with customer queries and producing weekly rotas. Led from the front as a shopfloor manager ensuring everyone was approached and really optimising and adding on to sales. Target driven approach led me to produce a excel spread sheet that broke down targets based on KPI’s per hour for each member of the team.Training and development at Galleries was very important I was responsible for training the temporary Christmas teams and the training of a new Senior Sales Assistant. This was a summer hospitality position. This gave me a new range of cliental to serve which I quickly became accustomed to. It also gave me experience of bar work that was highly intensive having to serve all the patrons in just the short time before or during the intermission of the show. There were other aspects of the role such as managing large groups of people upon arrival and helping them find their way and I was also lucky enough to work on the disabled entrance and help many patrons with entrance to the building and helping with many of their needs.
