Efficient. Proactive. David is a pleasure to work with and never met a challenge he couldn't tackle. In his first month, he achieved TWO Azure Certifications on top of his fast-paced job onboarding - and he hasn't slowed down his pace of learning since then. He became a Facilitator for our Azure Immersion Workshops in record time and quickly became a learned instructor on DevOps with Github, Modernizing Java Apps, Low Code/No Code, Cloud Adoption Frameworks Azure ARC, and more! I worked with Dave in Facilitator-Moderator teams several times a week. As a Moderator, he's the best you can ask for. He goes above and beyond with a positive attitude. He regularly identified (and resolved) technical details that could have caused serious delays in our workshops. He's humble and helpful, and always takes suggestions for improvements or alternate processes to heart. As a Facilitator, he explains complex cloud topics to complete beginners in a relatable, easy-to-understand way and guides with consistent encouraging warmth. He wonderfully balances professional workshops with a personal touch - I've even picked up a few of his typical phrases! He's a supportive leader that is understanding of mistakes and makes sure that we all succeed together - and if anyone needs extra time, he will take those extra miles for any attendee that needs it. In every role, Dave has that classic can-do drive that comes with being ex-military. Timelines are kept, conversations are focused on the path forward, and meetings are kept at a punctual clip. He's a fast affirmative for any ask and always follows through. This task needs done? On it. Learn this new lab? Got it. Need someone to take up the Partner communications role? I'm your man. Looking for new streams of revenue? Sure, here's a five-slide PowerPoint proposition on creating a Udemy courses utilizing the team's collective knowledge and a timeline to complete it. There's a lot of hats to wear as a Facilitator and a Moderator. Whether working independently, collaboratively, a leader or a support, I can vouch that Dave goes above and beyond in every role. Shake n' bake!
