  Senior Database Administrator supporting IBM Mainframe DB2 at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of South Carolina as primary Database Administration support for CMS HITECH National Level Repository (NLR) production and pre-production (Implementation) databases. Created procedures for all database deployments and led all database deployments from the inception of the HITECH NLR databases. Supported all performance stress testing and analyzed performance statistics to isolate and resolve all performance issues. Deployed IBM QREP for unidirectional data replication for the NLR database. Created and documented processes and procedures for replication monitoring and reporting. Established standards and guidelines for all database support by the NLR DB2 team. Developed and deployed methods to summarize and load hourly DB2 performance statistics into the DB2 database. Created REXX processes to query performance statistics by hour, day, month or any date/time range. Processes included, on the hour notification of SQL timeouts or deadlocks. Provided on demand performance reports for CMS as well as the application developers and project leaders.
