  For more than a decade, the primary focus of my practice has been on handling insurance coverage and contractual risk transfer (indemnity) matters. I provide a variety of legal services to both individuals and corporations, including:• Review, commentary, and consultation on various insurance and contractual indemnity provisions;• Recommending specific terms and conditions to include within, or to remove from, insurance policies being considered for purchase (or policies in the renewal stage) and providing similar advice with respect to contractual indemnity provisions contained within construction and service contracts;• Legal strategy for the preparation and submission of insurance claims, including appropriate description and categorization of incurred damages, so as to maximize the recovery potential;• Handing insurance coverage and indemnity disputes, including correspondence with insurance carriers and legal counsel, informal negotiations, alternative dispute resolution proceedings (such mediations and arbitrations) and formal litigation; and• Submission of proof of claims with respect to insurer insolvencies and run-offs, including domestic insurer liquidations and London Market schemes of arrangement.
