  The Group Operations Manager role is to support & develop the senior management team for All Purpose Transport to ensure the on-going growth of the business. I was responsible for guiding and directing Divisional Managers to achieve their goals and strategies for the separate divisions of All Purpose Transport. A key focus of the Group Operations Manager is to ensure that all processes are measured and reviewed to ensure high standards of customer service are maintained as well as maximising return on investment for the company’s assets. This role also including developing and implementing the strategic plan for the company as well as individual business plans for each business unit. Staff training and development was one of the most rewarding tasks in this role.

  All Purpose Removals (APR) has operated in the Queensland market since 1975. In my role as Divisional Manager we expanded our services from SE Qld to a weekly regional service covering all of Queensland. APR specialises in home and office relocations. It has a purpose-built storage facility located on Brisbane's south side where domestic and commercial furniture can be stored. APR sells cartons and packaging materials from this facility. APR has grown into one of the largest specialised removals and storage companies in Queensland. I left this role in June 2013 when I was promoted to the position of Group Operations Manager with the parent company All Purpose Transport.
