Spent the past 38 years serving in upper management positions in Miami, Atlanta, Savannah, Rocky Mount (Raleigh, N.C. area), Washington D.C. and Myrtle Beach. Recognized by the American Hotel & Lodging Association as having achieved the designations of Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA) in 1990, and Certified Rooms Division Executive (CRDE) in 1985. Recognized by the American Resort Development Association (ARDA) as a Registered Resort Professional (RRP). Most recently served the vacation resort industry as Vice Chairman of ARDA Resort Management Committee (8 years as Vice Chair, 14 years a committee member), former member of the ARDA Resort Operations Council (6 year term expired 2015) , long serving as Vice Chairman of ARDA-Carolinas and Membership Committee Chairman of the Grand Strand Golf Directors Association.
