Volunteer Archive Assistant

Mar 2015 - Aug 2015
To supplement my studies and to gain an experience of a different type of archive I began volunteering at the University archive as well as going to the BRDC. Duties included researching the collection to assist the archive team as well as indexing albums of newspaper clippings, and cataloguing using an open source system. This experience was very useful in understanding the different processes that can be used in archiving.
