Employed towards the end of the project, my main role was to supervise a small team of on-site Laing O’Rourke Australia Engineers. Main responsibilities were to attend daily progress and schedule meetings and provide direction to the Engineering team so that Construction handover dates could be met. Both the small team and I worked closely with the rest of the Construction team and we were highly productive in answering any of the workforce’s Technical Queries. I was also heavily involved in providing Quality Assurance to the client, performing walk downs of each of the systems prior to the official client walk down dates. A works-to-go pack was then generated and given to the constructors. I had an overall supervisory role to ensure this work was completed prior to the client inspection dates. Show less
