Worked in the Makriyannis group on the synthesis of Prostaglandin ethanol amides (prostamides). • Funding was provided by a NIH Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Award • Streamlined an existing synthetic pathway down to 10 steps from greater than 15 steps. • Synthesized a small library of compounds that we submitted to biological testing producing a finding of those compounds having resolvin-like activity.
