  I worked at MacGregor and MacDuff (Kilt Hire & Kilt Makers) as part of a small web team. I took their original Magento website, macgregorandmacduff.co.uk, and turned this into a responsive website using a bootstrap skin, whilst resolving all compatibility issues with existing extensions. In addition to this I also set up and configured the Google Analytics / Adwords conversion tracking using Google Tag Manager. To improve the website performance, I managed the switching of hosting to a higher spec dedicated server and set up the CloudFlare Content Delivery Network. As part of this switch over I worked with the hosting company to improve the overall security of the website. My duties included: • integration of third-party software & customisation of the Magento platform • improvements to the website frontend for better customer experience • installing security patches & monitoring security channels / web traffic • use of Photoshop to process images for web • use of Google Webmaster tools to fix mobile / url issues • configuring / processing data feeds for Google Shopping & Fruugo Shopping.
