  Currently high end retail re-fits, mainly for Primark New Look, Mamas and Papas and Pure Gym. Currently required to travel UK and Europe completing new fit outs and re-vamps of exisitng displays. Fitting of graphics and vinyl application on a large scale i.e. escalator wall backdrops in vinyl or wallpaper. I am also required to manufacture LED light boxes and then install these on site. I work on a part time basis as a team leader supervising a team of up to 8 men. Have responsibility for completion of electronic timesheets and daily updates via iPad and internet for each contract. Compliant in working from paper and electronic store plans. Engage in regular liaison with site managers and staff. Part of role is to build a portfolio of photographs taken on site to show work that has been completed and evidence resolution of problems encountered on site.

  My work involved conversions and complete new fit-outs of Morrisons Supermarkets and M Local’s throughout the UK. I liaised closely with project and store managers on site, tracking progress and keeping work to schedule. I had responsibility of completing final store walk rounds to ensure work completed is to a high standard. When not working on site I was based in the acrylics department & have knowledge of line bending, flame polishing and general sign manufacturing. My work also involved supervision of up to 7 men. I was also part of a team showcasing a new design of bulkheads manufactured by Nova for Morrisons at EventCity, Manchester.

  Initially starting through an agency for a short time before being permanently employed I was involved in contracts/role-outs, and my work entailed:-• Conversion of approximately 300 Safeway Supermarket to Morrisons Supermarket stores over a 3 ½ years• Supervisory role fitting out new Morrisons supermarkets, installing signage, visual display & vinyl’s throughout store• Refurbishment of various high street stores including JD Sports, Ann Summers, Knickerbox. • Conversion and refurbishment of Asda Opticians• Fitting out of new branches of British Home Stores often working at heights of 30 foot or more installing ceiling fixings, installing directional signage throughout the store• Installing self-scan till points & signage in a number of Morrisons Supermarket stores• Fitting a display of furniture, coloured flooring & wall displays all manufactured in acrylic at NEC in Birmingham• I was also required to work at Whiteghyll premises on an ad-hoc basis installing fitted office furniture, hanging doors, installing false walls & ceilings & manufacturing duties
