  Duties included: manufacturing various projects for numerous clients across the north west. In this role I have to be versatile as the company takes on a very wide range of work grom clients of different industries ranging from the construction industry, where we would take on jobs for the council to jobs for companies in the catering trade. I complete my day to day tasks by breaking down and using engineering drawings to construct each project to the standards set by the company. All components after welding go through an inspection process and are pressure tested due to the purpose the component will serve as this will be attached to an existing water or gas service and will have to be able to withstand a massive amount of pressure.   Duties included: The manufacturing of individual components in order to construct the Medium Girder Bridge and the Dry Support Bridge from detailed drawings and following the Welding Procedure Schedules (WPS) for each type of components. The WPS is put in place for types of heat treatment, thickness of material, how many runs is required and the size of the weld. These bridges were built for the use of military armed forces around the world.
