Intern

May 2021 - Aug 2021
Over the summer, I was a Pre-Construction intern at TWG Construction. During this time, I worked with bids, performed quantity takeoffs, and learned about the business side of construction. The projects that I worked on were apartment complexes in Louisiana, Colorado, Washington, and Indianapolis. For these projects I helped the pre-construction managers make sure they had good bid coverage on different aspects of the project and perform takeoffs. These would ensure that the project is under budget and we were making money as the general contractor. Show less

At Timberland, I was tasked with working in the lumber yard putting together shipments and cleaning. I was giving a set of different materials to retrieve which would be shipped to various job sites around Indianapolis. Also, Timberland built a new T-shed to cover their materials from the weather where I sorted wood based on length, width, and type. Then the wood was placed in a designated shelf which would help identify the different types of wood when putting together a shipment. Mar 2019 - Sep 2019
I worked in the outdoor service department with the golf course where I helped members and the club. I helped members retrieve their clubs and make sure they are ready for the tee times. I also helped the club coordinate the tee sheet and anything that was needed in the cart barn. On days of tournaments or outings, I would help set up the event and make sure it runs smoothly. During my time at Hawthorns, I learned how to improve my time management skills and my skills of working in a team with my co-workers. Show less

I had an internship with the City of Fishers Engineering Department over my junior year of high school. During this internship, we worked on a GIS System that mapped every street sign in the City of Fishers. Another intern and I collect data about various signs around the city and inputted the data into the GIS System to create a map that shows the conditions and locations of every sign.
