The ICC Cricket World Cup is the flagship event of the international cricket calendar and takes place every four years, with matches contested in a 50-over format. The tournament is the fourth largest sporting event in the world and was the largest in 2015. The CWC2015 security operation was highly successful and involved more than 50 'Category 1' stakeholders, including 9 Police jurisdictions and numerous Government agencies across two countries. Balancing competing priorities, tight budgets and increasing threat levels, our team worked hard to risk-manage our security solutions to ensure a safe, secure and highly successful event for the participating countries, sponsors, broadcasters and the ICC.
