David is a good listener and relationship builder which makes him an effective career counsellor and job search coach. In addition to well developed one on one advising skills, David is an accomplished group facilitator, trainer and presenter with a great sense of humour. He easily recognizes strengths in others which contributes to his skills in resume and CV writing and critiquing. Highly recommended!

Evelyn Akselrod, MBA,

David is a natural leader with sound emotional intelligence that brings a unique and sought after balance to the workplace. His genuine interest in the welfare of others is refreshing in our egocentric world. David is a remarkable team player who possesses sound technical skills which propels his work to a level of sophistication we should all aspire to.

I work with formerly homeless people, supporting them with all the issues that come with managing one's own tenancy (for some it might be their first). The underpinning philosophy of the support is for it to lead toward self-sufficiency. Progress is not a linear experience (for anyone), therefore taking opportunities to highlight other's resources - particularly in the current economic and social period - is a key intention for me. Thames Reach is a charity supporting homeless people. It's not in the sector above, but that's a LinkedIn issue.

A groundbreaking initiative developed by Mencap, Lambeth Council and Capita: to create employment opportunities for Lambeth residents with a range of neurodiverse conditions. Options include Supported Internships, Traineeships, Apprenticeships or plain old jobs! Showing true leadership with Learning Disability and Difficulty (LDD), Lambeth council have acknowledged that some local residents are underrepresented in their workforce in particular those with LDD. This collaboration will endeavour to address that deficit. Show less

A truly multi-faceted role. Working at the heart of a small and dedicated team, my role was primarily about developing and building professional working relationships, most importantly with the learners and their parents. Specifically I: - Recruited new learners, which included application support and induction, and administration of all relevant paperwork connected with their individual support needs; liaising and networking with a range of outside agencies including local schools & colleges, charities, social services, youth offending teams. - Provided ongoing pastoral support for learners during their studies; - Connected with employers to source and organise suitable work placements, and support learners in undertaking these. As part of this I redesigned existing formal documentation and work placement packages for the learners. - Progressed learners to a positive next step: 95% of 2013/14's cohort were moved on to education, employment or further training.
