I worked with David both as a graduate student at Brigham Young University, as staff engineers at Albert A. Webb Associates, and as a volunteer with our congregation's youth program. As a graduate student, David provided great insights to my own research project in regards to transportation engineering concerns. David also worked heavily with undergraduates as a teaching and research assistant. He served as a valuable mentor for many aspiring civil engineers. As staff engineers, David and I worked as part of cross-functional teams in the residential land development field.
