It was a great pleasure to work with David on different aspects of the rLoop Project. He has strong fundamentals and first principles reasoning skills which proved very useful during the final hours of the project. We worked together on many sub systems together including Batteries, Integration of Hardware on the vehicle, and Wiring harness. I have always been impressed by his ability to foresee problems and create a solution that is impervious to potential issues. He singlehandedly led a few projects on his own, one of them being designing and implementing the BMS of the battery pack for the vehicle. He also led the software team to design the highly dynamic ground station software with a beautiful UI. One of the things that stands out would be his know-how of all physical things. He has a great grasp of Physics and Mechanics which makes him a rare expert-generalist. I wish him good luck for all future endeavors and look forward to collaborating with him on future projects.

David is an exceptionally talented and valued member of rLoop. His diverse skillset has proven invaluable to our continuing success. He has been a leading contributor to numerous teams over the past years, including electrical, controls, avionics, and IT. His boundless enthusiasm and calm demeanor has established him as a natural leader. Working with our globally distributed team, David has coached and instructed numerous members, disseminating his knowledge in a simple and accessible way to enable others to contribute and add to their own skillset. I personally benefited from spending time with David, as we worked together on one of the first scaled levitation systems for our Hyperloop prototype pod. For these reasons and more, David has become a prominent and well respected member of the rLoop team over the past few years. I cannot speak highly enough of him, and I look forward to continue to call him a collaborator and friend.

For SpaceX's first Hyperloop competition I lead the ground station software team to write a node.js based user interface for our pod controlling and monitoring systems with a react powered GUI in the browser. For the second competition I redesigned the pod's battery management systems to keep our 30 Ah battery packs charged and safe during operations. I also maintain our Confluence and JIRA servers to keep operations and documentation services running smoothly. Our team provides all AV & IT services on campus. For IT I provide network engineering, Wifi deployment, and manage our phone system. For Audio, Video, and Lighting I do design and CAD work as needed for campus upgrades and remodels while managing our live and streaming video broadcasting for Sunday services. We design most of our systems in house, working closely with dealers and manufacturers to efficiently deliver top notch systems for our ministries and staff.
