      I oversaw the running of the South Island warehouse which distributes all the combine harvester parts to the Case and New Holland dealers throughout New Zealand. My role was sole charge and included Order Processing/ Inventory Management: • Liaise with customers, suppliers and transport companies. • Plan and monitor the storage, delivery and dispatch of orders. • Oversee and manage stock control and processing of orders. • Coordinate the use of IDS (Norwood’s ERP system). • Respond to and deal with any customer communications. • Plan future capacity requirements. • Assessing returns meet the return guidelines. • Continually looking for ways to enhance the quality of service from the South Island warehouse. • Regularly update head office on inventory performance • Recommending stocking based on local product requirements. • Stocktaking (which includes cyclic counts). Building Maintenance: Manage the building warrant of fitness and any issues regarding building maintenance/security issues. I am the fire warden/health and safety rep for the Ashburton site. Customer Relationships: Part of my role is to manage and maintain relationships with the dealers but also with their customers who I interact with when they pick-up parts direct from the warehouse. I am also on call 24/7 in case our customers require parts after hours.
