• Choose how you move Redditch is a project supported by the Government's Local Sustainable Transport Fund with a value of £2.85 million over three years.• Engaging within the Redditch community to increase local participation in sustainable travel modes; walking, cycling, car share and use of public transport.• Responsible for initiating project ideas/campaigns and implementing these within schools and at community level.• Organising presentations and activities within schools (up to 200 pupils over the course of a day) and the wider community to raise awareness of sustainable travel.• Working with WCC Sustainable Schemes team to carry out infrastructure improvements at schools to encourage sustainable travel behaviour on a school by school basis.• Encouraging Redditch schools to sign up to ModeShift Stars - an online school travel planner.• Working within the Programme and Commissioning team at WCC to understand the wider imact of infrastructure developments and their impact on local communities.
