Hard work person! Get the job done

Dave was a great asset to ChipWrights. He has a very broad skill set including highly skilled functions like detailed solder work and electronics debug to things like spreadsheets, and managing prototype builds. You name it, he was willing and able to do it. He was a very conscientious employee dedicated to making sure his responsibilities were met. I think he would be a good hire in any type of tech role, but particularly at a small company his responsibility will be valued.

Product and process support for semiconductor laser trimming/fusing capital equipment manufacturing. This included product troubleshooting, process definition and documentation. Facilitated transfer of new design from engineering to production and directed junior technicians and assemblers. Played a central role in transitioning the "Trimming" product line to Lean manufacturing, which resulted in a reliable 3-week build cycle (was 2-12 weeks).
