      During my time at Scottish Enterprise I covered all areas of the organisation’s work, latterly on corporate PR including high profile activities such as the writing and production of the Operating Plan and Annual Report and management of media around the Annual Public Meeting. My primary role was to handled press inquiries and identify opportunities for positive press coverage and advise on PR matters largely related to projects in a wide ranging portfolio which included the food and drink sector, rural affairs, transport and regeneration. For 11 years I led on the communications for inward invest announcements secured by the joint SE/Scottish Government agency Locate in Scotland. I was also responsible for initiating innovative PR projects including the BBC Beechgrove Garden's Hit Squad "Community Corner" series and the Museum of Scotland's Junior Board. Show less
