Martha Baltodano-Whicker
I worked with David for 17 years at Anocoil and worked closely with him in developing the Latin American market for our products. David assisted me with a myriad of issues and always gave strong and solid advice backed by years of experience. When Anocoil ran into financial issues David led us through this period with a steady hand. I found it a privilege to work with David and believe he is a strong leader that will be an asset to any organization he is part of.
Matthew Hummel
I highly recommend David. He lead Anocoil through some challenging times in the news print industry with pragmatism and vision. He was a leader inside and outside his company. David understands the value of relationships.

Presstek, LLC is a developer and manufacturer of environmentally responsible and engineered products to streamline the print production process, making it easier and more profitable for print providers to meet increasing demands for both high-quality and fast turnaround printing. Presstek's core product portfolio includes 4- to 6-color DI digital offset presses and waterless printing plates. Other offerings include CTP hardware and a wide variety of plates for commercial applications. Presstek is a multi-vendor service provider with a global network of expert service technicians supporting pre-press, press, and post-press equipment including Presstek brands and many of the industry’s well-known brands. Presstek, LLC acquired Anocoil Corporation in 2016, and I took on the role as COO. Orchestrated all due diligence throughout the sale process of Anocoil to Presstek including conducting comprehensive analyses of each company's product, technology, clientele, and financial resources. Successful Integration of Manufacturing Operations Led the consolidation of Presstek's two production facilities into Anocoil's two locations in Enfield and Rockville, CT. Managed a capital investment of $10M injected to migrate manufacturing lines, and upgrade equipment and facilities to accommodate the manufacture of products from both companies. Sale of Plate Division to a Strategic Buyer Initiated and negotiated the sale of the CTP plate division to a major strategic buyer. Led all facets of the post-acquisition transition process including customers, orders, technologies, patents, license agreements, production supply agreements, and inventory transition. Show less

President and COO/CFO

Jul 1997 - Apr 2016
Anocoil Corporation was a leading manufacturer of environmentally friendly printing plates for the newspaper and commercial printing industries. Anocoil was known for its leading edge products and service and had 3 of the best plate products in the industry. These products and our advanced manufacturing facilities attracted the attention of two buyers, with Presstek offering the most attractive offer. Controllership of Sale to Presstek Served as the driving force behind the sale of Anocoil by adeptly identifying two separate buyers, and negotiating with both until Presstek came through with a premium bid. Stabilized and Guided Anocoil through a Significant Downturn Acted as a stabilizing force throughout a massive drop in product demand by negotiating favorable terms with a lender (five forbearance agreements, seven loan amendments), and securing a large capital injection ($6.25M) from the majority stockholder and major vendors to keep operations running smoothly while pursuing a sale. Ensured research & development (R&D) provided resources necessary to continue producing cutting-edge technology instrumental in drawing in the two bidders. Envisioned, designed, and implemented financial and operational information systems to create three data pipelines for tracking revenues by product, customer, and salesperson. Show less
