It has been a pleasure working with David during the 3 years working together. A hardworking, talented and motivated individual who always remained curious and had a keen eye to deliver results at high standards. He has always had close attention to detail with the numbers and has shown commitment to deliver better results. He works with a ‘never done and never give up’ attitude which has been demonstrated through his works where he has gone above and beyond to achieve the KPIs and help the business grow. He has shown a great understanding with all of the E-Commerce channels as well as the merchandising of the website. He has helped fight through the struggles of PPC from the early years when given to a third party source to driving success once brought in house and managed internally. David’s qualities are utmost flawless. He has been a great leader as well as active team player. He is a very good listener and always does provide feedback, suggestions and opinions to help others around him. He has shown great maturity during tough and stressful situations through his ability to remain calm and focused as well as demonstrating his capability to take and professionally handle multiple projects. Although by nature he is very competitive through his sporting background, he has treated his objectives and goals at work like a competitive game where he is always hungry to achieve the results. I worked with David for just over 2 years after he hired me as Digital Merchandising Manager to join the eCommerce team he headed up. As a leader, David led by example, his impeccably high standards, dedication and drive inspired me to push myself to do better, while his natural empathy and 'all hands on deck' mentality helped to manage the pressure of deadlines and ensure I always felt supported. Analytical, strategic and yet creative. This combination alongside David's diligence ensured that when scoping out projects, every eventuality was thought out. If we were ever unable to complete projects or work due to technical constraints then David would inevitably come up with a creative 'out of the box' solution to ensure we hit our targets. David's flawless ability to juggle multiple projects and daily workload whilst managing a team in a high pressure environment and never letting standards slip is awe inspiring to me, but seemed to come naturally to him. David would be an asset to any company whilst adding real value and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.
