David es de las pocas personas con las que me he cruzado profesionalmente en España que comprende la I+D+i y tiene los conocimientos técnicos y de gestión necesarios para poder liderar proyectos en este ámbito. Al poco de incorporarse en el departamento, empezamos a tener metodologías mucho más claras y muchos menos obstáculos. Sabe comunicarse con, y escuchar a, los miembros de su equipo, además de captar a la primera la realidad operativa de un departamento. Esto, junto con sus conocimientos técnicos, le permite entender tanto el potencial (técnico y de negocio) de un proyecto, como identificar los posibles riesgos (internos y externos). Gracias a todo ello, sabe "defender" a la perfección a su equipo para que consigan los objetivos marcados sin distracciones (y sin prisa pero sin pausa), lo cual en I+D+i es fundamental y, al mismo tiempo, muy difícil de encontrar en empresas españolas. Si tuviera que trabajar en un proyecto de I+D+i en España, saber que David está en el equipo sería definitivamente un factor decisivo.
