I currently work as a Worker's Compensation attorney handling approximately 80 files from inception to lien resolution. I make appearances at all Boards in California. I handle applicant depositions, cross-examinations of doctors, attend MSCs and Trials. I continue to undertake a strategy that focuses on aggressive handling of the files while also keeping in mind cost saving strategies to save the client and employer money where available. Since working at this firm, I have also trained 5 new attorneys who had had little to no Workers' Compensation experience at the time of hire. Show less

I volunteered approximately 40 hours per week to be a part of the Board that made decisions on how to utilize over $200,000 in funds to help rebuild and provide assistance to the Haitian people following the earthquake in 2010. I organized a massive tent drive that in just 3 weeks brought in over 200 tents to house over 1000 Haitians whom were displaced following the earthquake. We also organized teams of engineers and laborers to work with a Haitian village to build a water reservoir with a filtration system that helped to stem the spread of the Cholera outbreak that ravaged the country. I also went to Haiti for 7 days to provide assistance with the reservoir and setting up a medical clinic that was partially funded and supplied by Calvary Community Church. Show less
