  Running the operations crews for the Continuous Galvanizing Line which include coating steel, quality, production and documentation. I am also a member of the FPA (Fatality Prevention Audit) team. The purpose of this team is to identify life threatening situations in the mill. Once identified, the proper people are notified so the situations can be made safe. I also have completed 201 level of the Carnegie Way Method. This method teaches us to look at areas where waste is happening, either through manpower or production. Once identified, we institute a plan using various methods including the DMAIC process, Project charters, 5S and other team building techniques to improve the production and cut costs where possible.
