'Cares about the team's performance more than anything,' is what comes to mind when I think about David Berenbaum. I have had the pleasure of working with Dave for nearly three years in his role running the Student Initiatives department at Autism Speaks. Dave's adaptability combined with a drive to help and encourage teammates makes him a rare force in the workplace. He shows courtesy and consideration in everything that he does and knows how to make everyone at our organization feel important. Youll leave every meeting with him feeling that he genuinely cares about his work and all those in attendance. Most importantly, he won't hesitate to work beyond his role in order to make the organization better. As a team member or leader, Dave earns my highest recommendation.

I had the pleasure of hiring David at Autism Speaks to help run our student outreach program. I'll never forget the first time I met him, he walked into the room and you could feel the energy level rise. Some people can pull that off in an interview, but it's pretty rare to be able to carry that through into the workplace. David did that. He's the type of guy that lifts up everybody around him. He helps improve others, he makes people want to do better - to push the limits and see what's possible for themselves - and for the organization that he works for. He's cool under pressure and helps those around him try to laugh even when the situation is difficult. David is the kind of employee that you hire, and years later you find yourself smiling about, because you know that he's going to accomplish amazing things. I can't wait to see what those things are. I can't recommend David enough, as an employee, as a professional and as someone I consider a friend. I only wish our time working together was a bit longer.
