- Final Year MEng Project at the Unsteady Flow Diagnostics Laboratory (UNFoLD) in Lausanne, Switzerland. - Experimentally investigating the development of dynamic stall on a model H-type vertical-axis wind turbine using Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV) and aerodynamic load measurements. - The aim is to quantify the parametric dependence of turbine performance metrics such as torque generation and load fluctuations while evaluating the respective evolutions of dynamic stall vortices. - This project is a first step towards future research at UNFoLD which will investigate the potential of individual blade pitching to improve the efficiency and mitigate dynamic stall on vertical-axis wind turbines. - Presented preliminary results at the Applied Vehicle Technology conference in May, 2021 - Presented at the AIAA SciTech Forum and Exposition in January, 2022 (San Diego, CA)

-A six-month research project at the National Wind Technology Centre, working alongside the wind farm controls team. - Applied and developed the engineering wake model FLORIS in conjunction with the high-performance computing unit at NREL, U.S. Wind Turbine Database, and Wind Integration National Dataset. - Investigated the benefits of the plant-wide control strategy known as wake steering for a representative set of 60 U.S. onshore farms. - Conducted a parametric study for a generic onshore farm to quantify the effects of wind resource and farm geometry on the performance of wake steering, Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE), and Balance of Station Costs (BOS). - Authored a publication for a special issue by the Journal of Renewable and Sustainable Energy.
