  Tzav Shmonah specializes in explaining and advancing the importance of the status reservists. Tzav Shmonah seeks to standardize the rights and conditions granted by academic institutes to reservists during their studies, acquire rights for the partners of those who serve and increase the compensation and the grants paid to them. Tzav Shmonah does all of this while pursuing exposure in the media, in school systems, and while conducting studies on the socio-economic welfare of reservists. Tzav Shmonah is an apolitical, registered nonprofit organization, with no affiliation to any political party. The organization is led by current and recently discharged reservists and represents of the all parts of society that serve in the reserve. Tzav Shmonah stress that reservists and their close ones make up a social class that crosses all of the boundaries of Israeli society. Tzav Shmonah works with the Knesset (the Israeli Parliament), with Knesset Members (MKs) and Ministers within the Government to promote reservists. The organization draft bills, promote our agenda and support bills that support reservists. Studies and polls taken of reservists by Tzav Shmonah also serve to inform lawmakers when needed. We are active in relevant Knesset committee meetings and we operate in cooperation with the Chair of the Knesset Reservists Lobby. Show less
