I am currently supporting Veteran's Health Administration, primarily supporting the integrated Electronic Health Record (iEHR) effort between VA and the Department of Defense, currently focused on developing conceptual and logical information models and diagrams for disability evaluation information exchange. My work includes developing current and future-state information models, diagramming specified data objects aligned to business process models, and establishing traceability to requirement statements. This also involves analysis and incorporation of business content from the Federal Health Information Model (FHIM) and health care industry interoperability standards such as HL7 and NCPDP. Concurrently I also contribute to development of common processes and deliverables for requirements and architecture analysis among DoD and VA resources, as well as participating in interagency architecture integration discussions.
