      David was the coordinator of the City of Lakewood team overseeing the construction of the West Corridor LRT project that opened in 2013, RTD’s first FasTrack construction effort. He is also the city’s primary staff contact with DRCOG, serving on the Transportation Advisory Committee, RTO committee as well as ad hoc workgroups. David is the principle contact for numerous CDOT projects including the US 6/Wadsworth widening and interchange reconstruction and the bridge reconstruction efforts at Garrison Street. David is currently working on tariff issues related to street lights and traffic signals with Xcel energy. Billing errors go back in some cases over twenty years. The Traffic Division is responsible for 200 traffic signals, 98 school flashers and numerous ITS devices from pan-tilt-zoom cameras and a fiber optic network to blank out message signs. Traffic also installs and maintains the city’s 35-40,000 traffic signs and oversees the 7500+ street lights.
