  I practice commercial litigation in federal and state courts, focusing on complex breach-of-contract, securities and insurance matters. For over twenty years, I have advised and served clients through all phases of commercial litigation and arbitration, from initial case-planning through trial and appeal. My insurance practice includes coverage litigation and regulatory investigations and counseling. I have extensive experience representing banks in bankruptcy litigations and other commercial matters, including defense of fraudulent-transfer claims. I also have arbitrated and mediated numerous domestic and international commercial disputes.I am a member of the bars of New York, New Jersey, Second Circuit, Third Circuit, SDNY, EDNY, and DNJ. During the first year of my career, I was a law clerk to the Honorable Robert E. Cowen of the US Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. I serve in the New York Family Court Volunteer Attorney Program, and also have served as a Special Assistant District Attorney for New York County.
