Apr 2016 - Sep 2019
Due to a down turn in the oil industry I found myself changing not only industries but job title. I started at Mount Polly driving haul trucks of various sizes (Cat 740, 777, 785, 789) along with rubber tire dozer and tracked dozer. After about 6 month I was asked to change positions and become water management tech. which involved looking after the various sumps and diesel/electric pumps on the mines site. I also participate on the mine rescue team. Due to a down turn in the oil industry I found myself changing not only industries but job title. Apr 2005 - Apr 2006
As operations manager I was responsible for hiring and training personnel, and coordinating personnel and equipment for as many as 20 jobs per day. Vantage is a very busy company working anywhere that safety advisors are required, from drilling to completions, plant shutdowns, pipelines and construction etc. My wealth of experience and ability to work with and train people well also enabled me to pass my knowledge on to newer safety advisors.
