Key Skills and intrests: Good understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, Information security and all our McAfee enterprise Appliances, regular expressions. Notable Projects: A long running project of mine has been updating and configuring our McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator (EPO) appliance, setting up and configuring various policies that are managed within it and deploying them out across the business. This started with a major update to the EPO which then continued into setting up Data loss prevention and File and Removable Media Protection. I have also updated McAfee Virus Scan Enterprise to Enterprise Security 10 and have installed Host Intrusion Prevention. During these set-ups I train myself on each product and make sure to configure each each one to achieve its best result (eg. the least number of false positives returned without compromising the capture of true threats, or the best client performance whist not compromising security). One example of this is whilst I was setting up the Data Loss Prevention policy I wrote and tested the credit/debit card regular expressions extensively and I am now confident that they produce the lowest number of false positives when used for finding PCI data in information that is communicated between agents. I now also look after our Web Gateway and Email Gateway and am currently configuring them for best performance without compromising security. Show less
