Working with boots, I was apart of a multidisciplinary team. Working alongside a Pharmacy technician, Pharmacist, store manager and more, enabled me to observe and value the importance of the role each professional had in regards to providing optimal healthcare to the general, public. My main role was to assist the store Pharmacist with providing expert healthcare advise and guidance to the public on ailments. Achieving a masters degree in Pharmacy equipped me with the vast knowledge and unique skill set to execute this role to an exceptional standard. This role also involves customer service, which requires core skills such as communication and listening. However, this service is unique to the ordinary, as adaptability is a fundamental aspect. Interacting with patients with varied ages as young as 2-80+ years, co-morbidities and psychological conditions is challenging. Having to adapt communications, this has greatly solidified this skill, and I am able to deliver high standard customer service in any field/department. Show less
