I worked with Dave in a hazardous, stressful environment. The area was experiencing active military operations and facilities construction. Dave's role was to suoervise the site for ESH compliance and to recommend solutions when safe working conditions were imperative, but not easily accomplished. Dave's solutions were always team derived and creative so as to deliver the simplest, most cost effective methods with an eye towards maintaining and often increasing productivity. His real world approach and understanding and perspectives made safe work solutions easy to administer and maintain. He was an asset rather than a hinderance as some well meaning but impractical safety officers have been in my past. I would love to have him on all of my jobs.

Working with David overseas in Afghanistan, we collaborated on many safety issues at (ANA) (ANP) Afghan National Army and Police sites. With his diligence and knowledge we where able to instate a safety program with the afghans to insure they would be safe while working on high voltage systems that sometimes exceeded 20,000 volts. I would not hesitate to recommend David nor would I mind working with him in the future.
