  Graduated from CJ TEC in Toledo in 1993, and started my career as a police officer. I am currently a sergeant assigned to the Montgomery County Jail, which is staffed by 30 officers and holds about 900 inmates. I am a member of the Miami Valley Critical Incident Response Team. I attended the Miami Valley Regional Crime Lab Evidence Technician program, and OPOTA Level 1 and 2 crash investigation, and functioned in the forensics services unit.
