Managed production of 1.5K electric motors per day, 5 production lines with up to 120 employees and 10 direct reports supporting $12M sales. Scope included production, purchasing, planning & inventory, finance, quality, engineering and maintenance.• Directed shutdown of the facility, moving 3 production areas to sister facility, scheduling production / raw material purchases for last time buy orders, working with auction group for sale of company assets, dismantling of assembly lines and removing equipment, materials, and cleanup.• Drove project to convert work cell into assembly line, increasing rate from 112 pcs to 336 pcs per shift.• Implemented $10K capital project that resulted in annual $100K savings on natural gas cost and an $11K capital project that achieved annual $30K savings in wire scrap associated with changeovers.• Headed capital project to consolidate production lines, reducing number of assembly lines from 7 to 5, freeing up 40+ pcs of equipment used by other organizations while increasing line rate for highest volume family by 33%.
