Dave took over at Shelter Modular and turned the company around. He was meticulous and thorough in his approach and put a much needed structure in place. Within two months the company ended two years of being in the red every month to pulling itself into the black. Dave was great to work for, listened to everyone’s input and implemented the best ideas. He treated everyone with respect and was a calm voice in a tumultuous time

Its not often that you come across talented leaders like Dave Orton I worked with Dave under his leadership at Shelter Modular Inc. where he held the position CEO and President and I reported directly to him as the Director, Supply Chain. Dave is a highly strategic thinker who is result oriented and highly committed to his vision. He was not just focussed on keeping the company’s stakeholders happy but greatly invested in the employee’s growth- a trait I well admire. Alway open to new ideas and technology, Dave understood how technology is reshaping the industry and implemented several projects to achieve process improvements incorporating lean methodologies. Above all, I was particularly impressed with the ease at which Dave re-designed the company's operation strategies and introduced new processes in a short time identifying and focussing on the company’s most vital areas for improvement. His turn-around plans were spot on effective and instrumental in improving the company’s bottom line performance. It has truly been a pleasure working with him and would be glad to work with him in the future

TerraCube is a 100% controlled and sealed bio-mass manufacturing module that can be programmed to replicate the exact growth conditions of any location in the world, for any point in that region's history, so that high-value plant varietals, and their location/year's natural "vintage" characteristics and genetic make-up, can be precisely replicated, harvest after harvest. Unlike traditional green houses or grow-rooms, TerraCube creates a sealed, positive pressure, active filtration, world-class growth zone with patent pending air management that eliminates mold or disease propagation, active UV bacteria removal, bleeding-edge LED lighting and control, multiple active sensors per plant, and even lab wall curvature designs that reflect light up, under the canopy. TerraCube is an unmatched high-tech solution to delivering some of the first pharmaceutical-grade organic alternatives to today's harsh, artificial prescription drug regimes. As a modular, sterile lab environment, built inside a standard ISO container envelope, TerraCube is ready for global deployment, at a moment's notice, to the harshest climates on earth...or stacked as 60-unit pods of 12 high and five wide, in space efficient urban production facilities using a unique exoskeleton deployment technology. Finally, analytics are applied to the lake of data delivered from an array of per-plant, environmental and fertigation sensors to deliver health, security, growth and even moment-by-moment crop value information to easy-to-read dashboards on the operators PC, laptop, tablet or cell phone. TerraCube is opening new horizons in food and Pharma for, literally, every corner of the globe.

Reporting to the CEO, responsible for the creation and management of the regional sales teams across North America as well as the corporate marketing strategy and team. Legend Power's Harmonizer-AVR, it is a patented and UL approved commercial/industrial power conservation unit that saves 6%-10% on your facility power bill, lowers maintenance costs, reduces your building's carbon foot print, and delivers an ROI in three years with available incentive funding. Additionally installation of the Harmonizer-AVR improves the building's power factor and reduces or eliminates additive triplen harmonics. I encourage you to have a look at our corporate video and hear from IKEA, Science World, and BC Hydro firsthand how effective the system is. This is a simple, robust demand side electrical conservation system that can be up and running within a week saving 6%-10% on monthly electric bills with no interruption to the building or workers and absolutely no changes to their work process or environment. Many buildings are being force fed higher voltage than required. This is done so that buildings farthest from the electrical substation still receive enough voltage to function effectively. Our Harmonizer-AVR is simply installed in the electrical room where power enters the building and reduces the incoming voltage to the optimal level required so that your facility is no longer receiving, or paying for, voltage that they just do not require. The Harmonizer-AVR simply is a three tap transformer (6%, 4%, 2%, and bypass reduction levels) combined with an automatic voltage regulator that, once programmed for the optimal voltage level, senses fluctuations in the grid and selects the correct voltage reduction tap to suit.
