Ashore, my duties were even more varied and ranged from working on the Change Program to relocate Fleet HQ from London to Portsmouth to working alongside the BBC for the events marking the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Trafalgar, including a speaking role during the televised broadcast. My final role was as the Fleet Signature Reduction Officer, researching and advising on stealth issues within the Fleet.
